A passionate photographer, Alastair Barrett believes the two most important things in the art are an open mind and respect for the subject matter. He prides himself on taking photographs that won't need to be digitally enhanced, as he uses natures own elements to shape the subject matter into natural works of art.

He most enjoys taking photographs of nature and architecture. The main goal in his photography is to make the viewer really think about the images, and wants them to create their own perceptions about the undefined subject.
