Andria Beighton

Andria is a Melbourne based artist, recently immersed in the creation of large scale, acrylic still lifes on canvas.

Andria's background in floristry is evident in her subject selection with flowers being featured predominantly. A fascination with colours and a requirement for balance are also driving forces in her work. 

​

Inspired by bold vintage textiles and the graphic nature of poster art throughout the mid 20th century, Andria creates bold yet harmonious work.

Andria has also worked under her own design label, "Shagpile', since 2008, producing textile accessories and wearable art pieces. Her work under this label has been stocked in stores and galleries throughout Australia.
