About Betty Pritchard

Betty, born in Croydon, England in 1933, emigrated to Australia in 1952. Married with three children, she has had a lifelong interest in, and close involvement with, the world of art and design.

In Australia between 1960 and 1980 she undertook CAE classes under such artists as Noel Counihan, Ian Bow and Geoff Spruzen. From 1992 to 1997 she studied for the Diploma of Visual Art at Casey Institute of TAFE (now Chilsholm Institute).

Betty's works are in private and public collections including those in Standard Roads, St Vincent's Hospital and Art Gallery of New South Wales.
