Catherine Morgan

Cath has been painting for nearly a decade and still finds pleasure with producing a piece of art. Ultimately, she prefers to watch other artists at work and marvel at their brilliance than experience any brilliance herself. Having grown up in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, she underwent a sea change and now lives with her family at Aireys Inlet, one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Her style is modern with a vibrant and colourful edge. Circles have often been a feature of her work; but now Cath is attempting a new style; that of mosaic looking paintings. Cath enjoys doing mosaics in any spare time she may afford herself.

She has recently broadened her exhibition base to include the Eagles Nest Art Gallery at Aireys Inlet as well as local exhibitions on the Surf Coast. Cath has never ever won an art prize and probably never will!

 Camberwell's local artist and very special friend Jenny Shewring has been of great support and inspiration to Cath in her evolving life as an artist and person.
