About Janice McBride

Janice McBride is a Contemporary painter and print maker.  The works  in this Exhibition are monotypes,  which are a type of printmaking but do not go into editions, Major influences of monotypes are Degas and Pissarro.  An Exhibition next August of Monoptpes  at the Metropolis Gallery with eight artist  title 'M O N O.'

A career involving a wide range of art practice, including artist-in-residence,  A lecturer for ten years at RMIT University has also tutored at TAFE colleges and the Council of Adult Education and is currently tutoring for the Hawthorn Artists’ Society.
