Joanne Melrose is a designer and artist based in Mont Albert in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

With a background in graphic design and illustration, she is happiest following arty pursuits.

Over the years Joanne has worked in Melbourne and London as a designer and now creates quirky retro style art for children’s rooms and interiors.

Her inspiration is drawn from her children as well as memories of growing up in the 1970s.

Joanne’s collages incorporate vintage buttons and pages from old children’s books.

She has recently been working on producing archival prints of her collages to reach a wider audience.
