Karina Griffiths

Karina in a portrait artist from Melbourne, Australia. Her work is known for its moving realism and genuine love for the human form and face, particularly the eyes.  Influenced by great portraiture artists throughout time, her love for lines and colour has allowed her to move through the International and local art worlds with success- particularly given that many of her works are done in the beautiful and archival medium of coloured pencils.  Karina has be honoured to win many accolades, ranging from Best In Show for the Ann Kullberg International members exhibition 2015, Best Work on Paper at the Knox Art Show 2017, Best Drawing Chelsea Art Show 2016 and First Place in the Australian Society of Coloured Pencil Artists International Colourbrations Exhibition. Her work has graced the cover of Australian Artist in 2016, along with the front covers of Creative Artist in 2015 and Ann Kullberg's Color Magazine 2015 compilation book. Karina also teaches coloured pencils to all ages, and hosts coloured pencil parties for Kids- inspiring the future generations to appreciate the beauty and therapy that art gives us all.
