About Kerry Doran

Kerry Doran’s goal in painting is to perfect the realist technique and produce works with perfect harmony where the paintings have space, light and shade, and atmosphere. Kerry’s subject matter includes, interiors of villas in Europe, still life, landscapes and flower studies, all showing the interplay of light and shade. Born in Bendigo, Kerry is a self taught artist who was mentored by Kenneth Jack. His painting were soon in demand and it didn’t take long for him decide to leave his career as a computer Programmer for a life as a full time professional Artist. Travelling and living overseas, particularly, USA and Europe, Kerry soon had a strong following and has exhibited in the New York art fair, Los Angeles, Art Fair and Galleries in San Francisco. He has also won many awards including Camberwell Rotary art show, Best Still Life, Victor Harbour, Best Still Life, St Kevin’s Art Show Oil prize. He sells his works extensively to Private collections by including Clint Eastwood, Patrick Williams, {Frank Sinatra’s musical arranger}, US Attorney Ronald Palmerie, the late Dinah Shore, The late Academy Award director, George Sidney, Jeffery Tinsley, {CEO My Life} and the Chemical Bank, New York
