Artist and illustrator Meredith Gaston creates inspired drawings and paintings for both children and the young at heart. Her bright, warm colours and simple forms exude happiness, joy and sensitivity. Inspired by the hidden treasures in the simplest day to day activities, Meredith seeks to express the joy of living, and experiencing the world through grateful and curious eyes.

For the last six years Meredith has exhibited in high profile Sydney and Melbourne galleries.She has recently begun exhibiting abroad in such locations as Berlin and Hong Kong. Her work has been featured in numerous international journals and magazines including Harpers Bazaar, Luna and Vogue Living, and is commissioned worldwide. Meredith's second book with Pengin: 'Tucked In' - 'For everyone having a doona day''; was released in late February this year.

Meredith divides her time between her Sydney studio and her cosy Blue Mountains nest.
