I am 55 years 'young' and was born in a displacement camp in Germany.

Some time ago I read an article in Time magazine, titled 'Know who you are and you'll know where you belong'. That article and my subsequent visit to my place of birth in 2003 for the first time since arriving in Australlia with my family in 1951, set me on a journey of self discovery and self expression and caused me to throw myself into my drawing and painting with a real passion.

I am largely self taught and approach each work that I do as a means of conveying something of myself, be it my humor, my soul, my passion or my inspiration.

The past 4 years have been very exciting for me, whether it be via exhibiting and selling my work or making it into the final few in quality art competitions, but what I have discovered about myself is that what gives me the greatest 'buzz' is connecting with someone through my art and making them think, reflect or perhaps just laugh!
