Norm Borg is an emerging glass artist working from Tricia Allen's glass studio in East Gippsland. Having assisted Tricia for the past ten years Norm cites Tricia as having a major influence on both his work and ethic. Stylistically his work is distinctive because of the various surface treatments he employs on the 'cortex' of his vessels or sculptural works. The shapes he creates tend to be simple, organic forms inspired by nature. His newest work, the 'morph' series of vessels, takes this approach a little further with his use of amorphic shapes and new palette of colours.

This exhibition also includes the handblown female torsos which were awarded first prize in the Nowa Nowa Nudes Art Show in 2001.
