Peter is a qualified structural engineer and has always been interested in the structural form.

In recent years he has been intrigued by the amount of driftwood washed up along the beaches of the Great Ocean Road when huge storms hit. Beginning with mobiles he has stretched the boundaries to create beautiful structural sculptures using only natural materials he has found.

All materials used in his sculptures have a story. Even the plinth that holds his larger works are from old Port of Melbourne wharf sheds.
