My artwork reflects the things in my life that inspire me: everyday beauty in nature; home as a place for love, laughter music and art; cooking delicious food to bring friends and family together and to nurture the soul; people close to my heart. The things we often take for granted.

I like to create work that makes people happy. My life is not a nine-to-five day. Every aspect is an expression of my creativity and its constant challenges and riches, whether it is baking a simple dish, creating a peaceful study for a client or a canvas for a special space. I like the challenge of commissioned pieces and to understand the people who I paint for. I strive to understand a person's space, their life. I like to know that I have captured their memories and experiences in an image they can treasure forever.

After twenty-five successful years working in the interior decorating and design industry, my passion for art has evolved and strengthened. I have learned to let my instinct lead the way to evoking forgotten memories and emotions and translate them into a beautiful piece that reflects truth and beauty.
