Velda Palazzi

About Velda Palazzi

Velda was a Councillor at the Australian Guild of Realist Artists (AGRA) in 2000 and 2001. She is a member of the Victorian Market Painters. She has taken watercolour lessons with Ken McDonald, Arthur Markham more recently with Ron Russell Fletcher though AGRA. During the 1970's and 1980's she won several awards including the Dick Ovenden Prize, Bayswater Rotary, Woodend Lions and more.

Velda obtained a Diploma in Graphic Design at Swinburne University in 1980 and worked inthe advertising industry for several years. Although marriage and two children postponed her painting career for several years she has now resumed watercolour painting. Velda is keen to teach watercolour now that she has both experience and knowledge.

Her work is represented in collections in Melbourne, Victoria, N.S.W. New Zealand and Canada.
