Yvonne was born in Adelaide, South Australia in 1955. A qualified Interior Designer and Graphic Designer, Yvonne works as an illustrator, visual artist and designer. Her work has been exhibited locally, throughout Australia and in mixed exhibitions at Mall Galleries, London and Galeri Petronas, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Floral designs by Yvonne Ashby featured exclusively on Trelivings range of stationery which won the Australian Gift Industry's "The Gift of the Year" award in 1988.

Yvonne has undertaken a number of assignments on behalf of organisations including Rigby Limited, Adelaide Botanic Gardens, Lutheran Publishing Company and Omnibus Books.

Her most recent solo exhibition was held in November 2003 at Art Images Gallery, Norwood, SA. Her works are held in the collections of AMP Society, Myles Pearce & Co Pty Ltd, Reserve Bank of Australia (SA) and Nishiawakura High School, Okayama, Japan. She is also represented in private collections throughout Australia and overseas.
