ABOUT LUcE HANDMADE:

LUcE handmade is a unique label developed by designer/creator Anne Mason, the Melbourne label was established in 2004 and has developed a keen following from loyal wearers eager to see what each season will bring.

After studying fine art and completing a degree in graphic design, Anne has been working as a designer/creative director for over 12 years. Having worked for leading design studios and agency's in Melbourne and London. Her spirited passion for creating with fabric was instilled at an early age when her Nanna taught her to sew.

LUcE handmade originals are made from the fabric of life, with passion and a strong focus on using sustainable fabrics to create something beautiful, the pieces cross the boundaries of art and fashion. Materials range from a combination of vintage, recycled, re-purposed and new.

Inspired by the materials at hand, the creation and construction process of all LUcE handmade products is unique and some-what organic, each piece evolves in a spontaneous and generally free-form way. Original and unlike mass produced goods, their uniqueness is apart of the LUcE handmade design philosophy.

All pieces are handmade by Anne, each an original, with a small reminder of history, each having a story of their own.
