Annie White grew up in Geelong and spent her childhood on the beaches along the Great Ocean Road.

After leaving school, she studied Art and Design for 4 years then worked in advertising before moving into illustration on a full time basis.

Annie has been a children’s illustrator for over 30 years

She has illustrated over 50 books for children and her work has also appeared on posters, cards, rubber stamps, on-line children’s stories, magazines, murals and jigsaw puzzles.

Annie enjoys working in many different areas particularly the field of children’s literature and likes to communicate ideas clearly and simply using expression, movement and a touch of whimsy.

Annie re-discovered painting in oils 10 years ago and over that time has been involved in several group exhibitions.
