Electric Firefly Design & Creation began as an exploration of the relationship between art and science in design, with the aim of creating objects of universal appeal that are functionally appropriate and aesthetically correct. The Firefly Series set its own benchmark with the integration of Form and Function to the exclusion of all else, creating objects that are free of anything superfluous to visual appearance and structural needs. The original Firefly Series was shortlisted for an Australian Design Award in 2004.

Within the creative limitations of environmental and safety considerations, material constraints, functional life, storage and transportation, Electric Firefly meets the increasing demands of the new design market.

Electric Firefly has a strong commitment to social and environmental responsibility; using Australian-made biologically inert and completely non-toxic recycled materials, and recycled packaging.
