Pip Keane

I graduated from the Australian National University School of Art in Canberra in 1996, where I received a bachelors degree majoring in silversmithing.

From my workshop / shop in Prahran in Melbourne’s suburbs, I have been making contemporary jewellery and hollow- ware pieces, everything from tea infusers to neckpieces.

I work with precious materials using traditional craftsman methods but my distinctive geometric jewellery designs reflect a highly contemporary feeling. One of which will not date, as they are timeless pieces. I hope people feel like they are getting something handmade especially for them when they purchase my work, as I pride myself on the details in each piece, weather it be an engagement ring, neckpiece or tea strainer.

I exhibit in many countries as well as interstate and I am constantly working on new ranges and designs, that explore different concepts to make my work flexible and easy to wear, giving grater choice and individually to the wearer.
