Skipping PebblesSKIPPING PEBBLES Elastics Game Wanting to share a little piece of their own slower childhood, Skipping Pebbles is the initiative of two mums, Jenine Klarenaar and Belinda Souchaud. Today childhood is buffeted by a much faster and stimulating world and it's easy to forget that it's often the simplest and most inexpensive games and experiences that children love the most. Starting with the Elastics game - a favourite of little girls of the 60's and 70's - Jenine and Belinda are reviving some of those beloved, old-time games that are enthralling in their challenge yet provide hours of fun and laughter. Skipping Pebbles is inspired by the carefree imagery of the 1950's, the desire to keep life simple for their children and to use natural materials in their everyday lives. Recent publicity in The Age and Sunday newspaper supplements across Australia has generated considerable interest - obviously striking a chord and reviving warm memories of hours playing Elastics as a little girl. The Skipping Pebbles Elastics game comes in stretch gingham with a choice of six gorgeous colours. Instructions are provided and the game retails for only $14.95. The universal challenge for families today is to slow down and keep things simple. Children need the time and space to relax, imagine and just be. At Skipping Pebbles we invite you to give this gift to your children. For more on Skipping Pebbles see www.skippingpebbles.com.au |
