About Anna Blatman

Anna Blatman Bio Born: Melbourne, August 1965

Married with two children

Early career: Had lessons with an artist in 1990 and I knew I loved colour and off I went to pursue my passion

First exhibited: Herald Sun art show in the treasury gardens 1991

The years after: I developed a small range of paintings and sold them at Melbourne craft markets including South Bank, Red hill, Flemington and Balnarring for 10 years.

1997 Studio/Gallery: I have been working out of my gallery in Elsternwick for 17 years. I feel that I am permanently on exhibition but occasionally get to enter primary school art shows which I love to support.

Through the markets and gallery and various galleries that I have supplied to over the years, it’s safe to say that there is an Anna Blatman on every continent (except Antarctica).

I love painting today as much as I did when I first started and I have on going quest to find beautiful colour combinations that make me happy and feel at peace. I’m constantly inspired by nature, my garden and anything rustic.

“May your life be full of colour”
