Emma Barnes has been exhibiting her paintings, drawings and mixed media pieces for the past 10 years. This new collection of work "Playing with Jars" reflects Emma's new career as a Primary School Teacher. At a recent conference the idea evolved while sketching the speakers thoughts on how we "contain" and store memory. The jars contain letters, words, hearts, spades, dreams, memories, ideas which are playfully stored within a jam jar.
