About Greer Provis

Greer Provis is a young Melbourne based artist, she endeavours to capture a special moment in time through her ‘still life’ pencil drawings, specifically of animals and flowers. Greer’s passion for drawing is something she has nurtured since her school years, studying Fine Art and Graphic design at the University of Tasmania. She is a member of the Australian Guild of Realist Artists (AGRA). Greer regularly exhibits and markets her work at local and interstate art shows, recently receiving a best in category prize, and a number of commendations. She enjoys the challenge of bringing the works to life through the development of exquisite detailing, and will often spend an entire day lost world of the work where only line, texture and shadow dictate.
