Born in Melbourne Australia in 1961. Moving to East Gippsland in country Victoria where John lived from 1968 to 1982. He returned in 1983 to Melbourne where he studied painting and printmaking at the Victorian College of the Arts until 1986. Since that time John has had fifteen solo exhibitions and have participated in over seventy group shows within Australia and internationally. His work is held in most of the major national collections in this country.
