My art explores notions of the sublime and stillness with reference to landscape and nature.

I keep returning back to examining; • Spaces and times of personal realisation, • Turning points which are experienced under skies, outdoors with oneself • The notion of emptiness and the creation of a space of contemplation • The aesthetic of the purely beautiful that evokes a gentleness and acceptance • Sensations of experiencing colour and nuance and how this influences emotions.

My art is an exploration of my personal connection to nature. My practice can take the form of drawing, painting, photography or mixed media approaches. I am interested in exploring stillness which aims to enhance a connection between self and nature and environment. I gain great inspiration form being in nature and I am exploring these moments and realisations about these times.
