Sally Hutchinson is a local bayside artist in Melbourne, and a parent of two children.

She obtained a Diploma of Art and Design at Swinburne College specialising in Graphic Design and went on to work successfully in advertising agencies and design studios.

In recent times she has concentrated on her love of painting incorporating her knowledge of pattern, detail, textures and even hand stitching onto the canvas.

Her latest work is a series of highly textural contemporary paintings with torn layers of hand painted paper adhered to the canvas then hand stitched to add detail and depth.

She has exhibited at local Art Shows and received Highly Commended by Michele Stockley a senior educator at the National Gallery of Victoria for her artwork at the Caulfield Grammar Art Show 2010.
