Suzie Keil

Suzie Keil's work is inspired by the continual amazement she feels at the huge variety of forms found in nature. Suzie takes digital images of a variety of natural phenomena (from the beautiful patterns formed in ice to the intricate delicacy of tiny plant life such as moss) and having altered them on the computer she prints them onto canvas using an inkjet printer.

Suzie has been most influenced by the work of British Artist, Andy Goldsworthy. Andy's work, although largely sculptural, celebrates nature and organic form. His recent book 'Time' is stunning.

Suzie is negotiating to be a feature artist at a new gallery which is opening in Red Hill next month. The Gallery is called 'The Edge' and will exhibit predominantly contemporary art.
