About Anne Esposito
Anne Esposito earlier painted under the name of Anne Maurer before returning to her maiden name of Esposito in 2002. She is a painter in oils, pastel and acrylics.
Born: 22 October, 1947 Occupation: Artist, Art Teacher Trained: Peter Churcher, Lewis Miller and David Taylor
Anne is mainly a figurative artist using the body and objects to express an archetypal world full of symbolism and metaphor. Her major influences are artists of a similar nature, Julie Speed and Michael Parkes.
Anne has been painting professionally for some twenty odd years. She has her own studio school which was established in the late 1980's. The school is a regular participant in the Archibald Portraiture Prize.
Anne's work is currently showing at Qudos Art Gallery, Lorne, Victoria.
