About Bec Duff
BIOGRAPHY
Abstract watercolour artist and surface designer
Bec Duff explores the emotional space within the
landscape. Using water as a tool and medium alike,
she creates ethereal watercolour works on canvas,
linen and paper with fragile, transparent qualities that
are signature to her practice. With an ongoing study
into moments of rhythm, pause and conversation in
nature, Bec slowly pulls together layers of translucent
pigment with delicate gestures and forms.
Bec works from her home studio, located in
Bangalow on the far north coast of New South
Wales, Australia, where she lives with her husband
and two young children.
