CATHERINE HENDERSON

Catherine returned to her love of painting whilst at home raising her three children. Consequently, her work often concentrates upon the whimsical side of life and the simple pleasures of childhood.

Her paintings reflect her passion for colour, especially autumnal hues. She mainly paints with acrylic paint due to its immense versatility.

She exhibits regularly at local bayside and charity art exhibitions. Whilst mainly self-trained, Catherine has completed several painting courses at the Council of Adult Education and the Holmesglen Institute of TAFE. Amongst the many artists who inspire her work, she rates David Bromley and Janine Daddo as her favourites.
