Artist Statement / Bio

Although I have no formal art education or training I began painting to satisfy a creative urge.I have now been painting for more than 30 years.

As a regular participant in shows around Melbourne many local collectors have purchased my work, however I also sell internationally via my website dmross.net. My work is held in private collections in many parts of the world (Dubai, Spain, Singapore, Japan, USA, UK, Italy, Netherlands...and Australia). Colour is its own reward.
