About Debra Mawdsley
Debra studied watercolour while living in Africa in the late 80s. She has exhibited on numerous occasions with a highlight being in perhaps the first exhibition devoted solely to black and white Australian women artists.
She paints in realistic and impressionistic styles.
Debra has taught watercolour painting at the Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre for over 10 years and is a regular contributor to a variety of art exhibitions. Debra’s work can also be seen at Adele’s Fine Art Gallery in Maling Road, Canterbury.
