About Dionne Lew

Melbourne-based painter Dionne Lew creates richly coloured and textured pieces that layer realistic images with abstraction. Strongly influenced by the surrealist and psychoanalytical schools, Lew believes that composition and imagery reflect the unconscious life of the artist. Lew's debut exhibition at Qdos (Lorne) in January 2011 was followed by a group show at the Kew Court House in October as part of the BATS art collective. Lew's works are held in private collections around the world.
