Jenny Jessop

Jenny Jessop moved from the west of Ireland to Australia in 2011 with her family , she now works and lives in Melbourne. A sense of place is a strong  theme in Jessops paintings. After travelling around Australia extensively, Jessop captures the mood and colour from places she has visited on her travels  with memories and feelings from her other homeplace in Ireland. As a result, Jessop hopes that her imagined landscapes create a sense of belonging and connection as they are nowhere and everywhere together. Jessop, a graduate in Fine Art from Dublin Ireland has been part of a number of joint show in Melbourne and Ireland aswell as having a number of successful solo shows.
