Josephine Pititto

Josephine has a background in farming, building and also being a mother and grandmother.

Josephine enjoys working with different mediums - watercolours, oils, ink drawing on linen and paper and acrylic. From traditional to contemporary styles.

Josephine has received over 160 awards and has held exhibitions in Victoria, South Australia  ,  overseas. She regularly participates in group exhibitions.

Josephine has held demonstrations at various art societies. In 2005 she was Artist in Residence in Italy. where she held classes and successfully exhibited. She was the finalist at the Alice Bale Works on Paper on several occasions and has had work and tutorials published in the Australian Artists magazine. ,work  published in the " International  Contemporary Masters volume VI"  and in Germany's " Internationale  Kunst  Heute  2014 "

2008 highly  commended award at the Caulfield Society for the Arts

2009 The Bendigo art prize highly commended 2009 Finalist at the BSG Art prize .
