About Julie Hall
Painter and printmaker Julie Hall has taught art in secondary schools for over 20 years. In 2013 she completed a Diploma of Art at CAE and is now a practising artist.
Julie's figurative paintings and prints are inspired by an appreciation of the natural world and the physical environment around her. An ongoing interest in natural history, still life, landscape, animals and a love of the local bird life have been ongoing themes in her work.
Julie has participated in many local art exhibitions including Chapman and Bailey Gallery, Linden Contemporary, Pigment Gallery, Smart Artz Gallery, Canterbury P.S. and Albert Park College. In 2016 her work featured in a group show, 'Birds of a Feather' at the Town Hall Gallery, Hawthorn.
Julie has work in private collections in Victoria.
