About Kate Birrell
I am a painter living and working in Melbourne.
Many of the paintings I do are based on images and ideas that come to me when I am out walking.
These paintings here are based on the walks I often do up in the Dandenong Ranges.
I am currently exhibiting my Melbourne urban paintings in an exhibition titled Street Rhythm at Chapel Off Chapel Foyer Gallery in Prahran.
