About Kellie Stirling

Kellie Stirling began oil painting as ateenager and has dabbled with it on and off for the last 30 years.  She returned seriously two years ago, carvingout time to paint to relax from her other work.

Kellie's painting is influenced by her time travelling and living overseas and her other work which is focused on adult development.  She likes to explore humanity, in particularemotion through her painting.  Kellielikes painting in layers and building up the painting to something substantivethat portrays emotion through the contrast between the use of vibrant color andmonochrome.

Her current paintings are focused onawakening woman; showing the true ‘wild woman’ underneath the ‘mask’ peoplewear to fit into society every day.  This is informed by her working one on one with leaders where she has the privilege of getting to know the real person and see the beauty in their mind, heart and soul; the strengths and vulnerabilities that they hide away from everyone else.
