Liza Clements

Inspired by the beauty of the world around her, Liza creates images that are more a mirror of her state of mind rather than just a reflection of what she sees through the lens. With her minimalist style and exquisite colour palette Liza’s unique aesthetic has the ability to affect the senses, allowing for a moment of quiet contemplation.

Born in Sydney, Liza has lived in Bayside Melbourne for over 25 years. She has studied art and design and worked in the printing industry as a graphic designer. After travelling to Africa in 2007 Liza was inspired to explore the art of photography, completing The Advanced Diploma of Photography with an art specialisation in 2010.

As a photographic artist Liza’s vision is brought to life on her digital canvas. She doesn’t just capture an image, she creates a work of art, beautifully printing it onto quality fine art paper. In 2013 she held her first solo photography exhibition and was named The 2013 AIPP Victorian Emerging Photographer of the Year. She has gone on to win many more awards and continues to exhibit her work in a number of exhibitions.
