About Mary McMahon
I was a primary school art teacher for about 30 years and passionate about art all my life.
Since retiring 8 years ago, I have had the time to develop an interest in art for myself and have enjoyed every minute.
With mosaic work I can express my love of colour and pattern.
I love recycling the amazing variety of old china creating an imprecision that I prefer.
My inspiration comes from the mosaics of Gaudi and Sicilian Harvest pots decorated with faces.
