About Pauline Stewart

Pauline Stewart, born in Melbourne, Victoria, is realist artist painting in both watercolour and oil. She has held 20 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows. Since studying drawing at RMIT in her teens she has opened and judged art exhibitions in Victoria, and has demonstrated her talent to many art groups and mentored and encouraged young children in schools throughout Australia. She has been represented in many publication s including articles for Australian Artist Magazine in 2007 and 2010. Pauline has won over 20 major awards, including Best Painting under $400 at Camberwell Rotary Art Show. Her most recent prizes are: Watercolour Society of Australia, Kenneth Jack Memorial Award; Best Flowers and Garden 2013; 1st Prize AGRA President's Challenge 2014; 1st Prize AAL Winter Competition 2014; Finalist / Australian Art Excellence Exhibition 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.2018 Best Miniature Painting, Strathdon Art Show 2015. ASMA and Sherbrooke Art Society Small Packages Exhibition 2017 1st Prize 9x5. Best small painting Flinders art show 2017. D.T.A.S.John O'Bernie Memorial award 2017. S.A.S. Drawing 1st prize 2017. Best small work, Warrandyte Art Show 2019. Pauline is a member of The Watercolour Society of Australia, Sherbrooke Art Society, Doncaster and Templestowe Art Society, Australian Society of Miniature Art Inc, and a signatory member of Australian Guild of Realist Artists.
