About Sally Joubert
Sally Joubert’s work is oil on canvas or board done with a palette knife. The paint is applied directly and thickly to create a fresh impressionistic style of the subject matter whether it be a landscape or figurative.
Her influences are many but at the moment it’s contemporary Australian Artists Such as Guy Maestri, Euan MacLeod, Philip Wolfhagen and Philip Davey for landscapes. Jeffrey Smart and Edward Hopper for landscape and figurative work.
