Sharmain Lowe

Sharmain is a self taught abstract, contemporary artist who has been painting for eight years, three of those years full time. She’s always been a creative person from leather work, sewing, knitting and embroidery. Her paintings have a thread from these previous creative pastimes. She is influenced by colour, texture, nature  and interior design. Many of Sharmain’s artworks start with a textured layer where she incorporates her medium of acrylic and ink.
