About Tiffany Morris-North
Tiffany lives in Melbourne’s Dandenong Ranges and draws motivation from her natural surroundings for her botanically inspired works. Tiffany grew up in Melbourne’s beach side suburbs and was always interested in a range of artistic pursuits, including drawing, painting and sewing.
After completing her schooling in 1989, she spent a further five years studying and traveling in Europe. On returning to Australia she has worked in the film and television industry as a scenic artist and undertaken courses in furniture restoration, framing, visual merchandising and bookbinding.
Upon moving to the hills and starting a family, Tiffany’s own style began to reveal itself. Her paintings and drawings are rich and textured, often resembling decorative wallpaper or fabric collage.
Tiffany has exhibited her work in many group exhibitions. She also works on individual commissions.
Tiffany has previously exhibited in the Canterbury Art Show under the name of Tiffany North.
