About Wendy Courtney
Born in Deniliquin, NSW, Wendy has been painting professionally for twenty years, experimenting with all mediums. Her main interest is painting objects that convey feelings of peace and life in both figure and landscape. Many subjects are attained from her home area on the Mornington Peninsula. However, her love of Italy always has a presence. Her works are represented in overseas collections in the USA, Japan, Britain and France. During her first visit to the USA in 1985 she sold a selection of her watercolour paintings to galleries in New York and San Francisco. Wendy's paintings are sold mainly at solo exhibitions and galleries.
