artist biography requirements

The Canterbury Art Exhibition would like to hold a brief biography on every artist entering the exhibition. This biography will be used for promotion of the artist on the www.canterburyart.com web site. It may also be used in other promotions for Canterbury Art Exhibition.

The biography will generally contain the following:

• a description of the artist's style
• influences
• recent major prizes and awards
• current and future exhibition details (no past exhibitions)

You can update your biography with us at any time. We would like to receive your latest biography by email to admin@canterburyart.com.

We prefer plain text email if possible. If you have typed your biography into your favourite word processor you can simply copy the text and paste it into your mail editor.

Submitting a biography is optional.
